Russia Hits Ukraine with Guided Aerial Bomb, Two Reported Dead
"One man died on the spot, another died in the ambulance," Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said in a statement on Telegram.
The attack hit one of the city's primary traffic arteries, igniting multiple civilian vehicles and blowing out windows across surrounding residential towers and houses, Synegubov detailed.
The regional administrator stressed the absence of any military installations in the strike zone, adding that emergency responders and police are now assessing damage to civilian infrastructure.
Russia has issued no statement addressing the Kharkiv attack reports, and independent confirmation remains challenging.
